Are you heading to the Monaco GP? If so, the Amber Lounge is the place to mingle with the drivers whilst supporting a very important cause, at the annual Friday night U*NITE charity fashion show and after party. Confirmed drivers so far include Esteban Ocon, Marcus Ericsson, Pierre Gasly, Charles Leclerc and Brendon Hartley, all gathering together to support Sir Jackie Stewart’s charity Race Against Dementia, and Badger GP will be there, reporting live from the event.
After his wife, Lady Helen Stewart, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, Sir Jackie has made it his mission to raise money to fund research into Dementia, the three-time Formula 1 World Champion knowing that the technology of F1 could be channelled into trying to find a cure. You can read more about the great work that he is doing at raceagainstdementia.com, and if you would like to make a donation, you can do so at https://www.justgiving.com/race-against-dementia.
Founded in 2003 by Sonia Irvine, sister of Eddie Irvine, the Friday evening fashion shows at the Amber Lounge have been running since 2006, including a catwalk show featuring both drivers and models, a charity auction, and after-party. You can also attend the Amber Lounge on Saturday and Sunday evening so to find out more, check out @AmberLoungeLtd on Twitter, or https://amber-lounge.com/monaco/
